Male, DMH Grey and White, DOB 12/10/2023

Hello, my name is Dali. I’m just over a year old, and I like to think of myself as a bit of a masterpiece in the making. My fur is soft and elegant, and I’ve been told my whiskers are the longest in the room (they’re very useful for sneaking around quietly).

I’ll be honest with you—I’m a shy soul. The world still feels big and a little overwhelming sometimes. When new people come near, I often prefer to watch from a safe distance. But every now and then, curiosity gets the better of me and I’ll creep a little closer. If I’m feeling especially brave, I may even let you give me a gentle pat. I don’t show affection quickly, but when I do, it will be because I trust you, and that kind of bond is pretty special.

I live with my two siblings, and we get along well. Other cats don’t bother me at all, and in fact, I feel safer with feline company around. That’s why I think I’d do best in a quiet home with another calm, gentle cat to help me feel secure. What I need most is patience—someone who won’t rush me, but who understands that love can grow slowly and beautifully.

I know there are plenty of confident, lap-ready cats out there. I’m not one of them, at least not yet. But if you’re the kind of person who finds joy in small steps—a tiny head tilt, a cautious sniff, or the moment I finally lean into your hand—then I think we could be perfect for each other.

I may be timid, but I’m also hopeful. I just need someone willing to give me the chance to blossom in my own quiet way. Could that be you?
